Prompt #44 – Recipe

How to Make Fall

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of tears from a recent break-up
    • tears do not have to be yours
    • no older than a month
  • of a tablespoon of salt (or to taste)
  • 2 Hershey’s chocolate bars, melted.
  • 5 Pumpkin Spice Latte’s (at least) from your local Starbucks
  • No less than 3 viewings of Hocus Pocus 
    • no more than 8
  • 2 cozy sweaters to wear all season
    • preferably without washing (no spills!)
    • hoodies are an acceptable alternative
  • 2 ½ cups of candy corn
    • don’t ditch this ingredient, even if you dislike it (we will know)
  • 1 half bushel of apples
    • picked locally
  • yellow, brown, & red leaf
  • 2 teaspoons of spooky
  • A healthy dash of green, purple, black & orange.

Instructions:

Stir all contents together, above a bonfire attended by you & friends, on a Saturday, during the halftime show of your favorite college football team’s game, after daylight savings time ends. Enjoy.
